Abstract

Financial Technology (Fintech) serves society by delivering a surfeit of amenities from fundamental financial functions to data security to the stakeholders through innovative products and services. These contemporary innovations in Fintech have invigorated scholars and professionals worldwide to channel research in Financial Technology. The study dissects Fintech Papers in the Scopus database from 2014 to 2022 for gauging global research trends in Fintech segments based on Co-occurrences of Author keywords, Publication outputs, and co-authorships between authors and affiliated nations. The review recouped 1876 research articles on Fintech from the Scopus database and envisioned the data using VOS viewer software and Biblioshiny from R studio. The out - turns showed that the Fintech-related literature escalated leisurely until 2014 and skyrocketed afterwards. Also, found that China, the United States of America, and India are the countries pitching in gripping research according to the Scopus database. The paper also identified some recommendations for academicians, researchers, policymakers, and experts in the financial segment for future research in the Fintech area.
