Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact of gender differences in hybrid team performance on productivity using structural equation modelling.

Research Methodology:  In this vein, a web-based overview was directed by 516 individuals from various Hybrid works. A structured research questionnaire was developed and distributed to IT Sector to collect information on gender differences in Hybrid Work in Chennai. The current study is based on descriptive research.

Finding: According to gender, path model analysis represents that motivation has a low impact on both genders which affects productivity. Compare to male team effectiveness of females has a lesser effect on Hybrid Team Productivity.

Research Limitations: The study has undergone only a Hybrid work environment in the Information technology sector, in the future, the research can be carried on through different sectors like Information technology-enabled services, Automobile, and service sectors.

Practical Implication: In Agile Hybrid Team what factors will affect productivity, the study will give a clear understanding of which gender is highly significant in HT productivity. So that the organization will clearly come to the conclusion, particularly which factors are affecting productivity so that the organization makes effective changes for the welfare of the organization and its employees.

Originality/value: Many studies carried out on Team effectiveness and virtual team productivity but the study related to the new normal work changes (Hybrid work) are very limited and especially the study on gender differences based on performance in the Information technology sector shows the differences to identify the problems that have to be overcome by the effective management
