Abstract

Throughout the history of humanity, the process of social and cultural evolution has generated transcendental changes in the cultural, economic, political, technological and social. Currently, we are witnessing the birth of a fourth industrial revolution, in which changes and transformations are taking place in a dizzying way, as a result of globalization and the technological revolution, which have radically transformed our way of living, working and even our way of life. relate, so a new way of thinking and approaching reality is urgent. Regarding the claim to analyze the process of technological transformation and its impact on the generation of knowledge and social employability, it is due to a reflexive theoretical documentary research that was based on the review of scientific articles and documents from the Scopus bases, Scielo, Redalyc and Journal Storage. Analysis that considers the need for a change in our way of thinking to be peremptory, because we are facing a digitized and informed society, where participation and action, the product of lifelong learning, will be the key to success.
