Abstract

These days safety of data in communication is a very challenging task. Therefore, a well-designed safety technique needs to be considered carefully. The security challenge can be overcome by cryptography, watermarking, and steganography. With aspire to guarantee the security and privacy of multimedia files in communication; we proposed a video steganography technique. In the proposed research work, the substitution of pixels is done to hide a secret communication in suitable region of interest in form of text, PDF, image, audio, and video over the cover video file. To check the feasibility of the proposed work security and complexity analysis are done for all type of multimedia secret messages. For security analysis, we have calculated Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR), Mean Square Error (MSE), and Entropy. Histogram analysis for original and stego frames is also drawn. Complexity is measured in terms of concealing and retrieval time of secret information. A comparison of the proposed research work has been done with the existing substitution steganography technique. From the experimental outcomes, it has been
