Similarities and Differences of Chinese and English Punctuation Marks

Abstract

At present, there are about sixteen kinds of punctuation marks commonly used in Chinese, and eight of them are different from the similar punctuation marks in English. They are sorted out as follows for your reference. (As for commas (,), question marks (?), exclamation points (!), colons (:), semicolons (;), dashes (—), parentheses (including parentheses () and The shape and usage of the eight punctuation marks such as square brackets [ ]) and emphatic marks (.) are basically the same.)
