Soong Meiling synchronizes its error probability in data recovery
Abstract
The error probability of using SML (quasi-optimal maximum likelihood) synchronizers in data recovery of PAM receivers. Instead of using the usual error probability analysis (i.e., reduction modulo 2T of the timing deviation), the regeneration The error probability is obtained by using the recovered timing deviation distribution. This method takes into account the influence of cycle skips on the error probability. The analysis shows that when the signal-to-noise ratio of the input data is high, the error probability does not tend to zero as in the usual analysis method, but A lower limit determined by the average cycle time.
